Loyalty cards in Apple Wallet

Perkfull issues your loyalty card as a native Apple Wallet pass — your brand, your colours, live-updating stamps or points, and push messages straight to the lock screen. Customers add it in one tap; you never touch a developer account or certificate.

Why Apple Wallet is prime real estate in the UAE

In Dubai and Abu Dhabi, the iPhone isn't just popular — in many neighbourhoods it's the default phone. That makes Apple Wallet one of the most valuable surfaces your brand can occupy: it opens from the lock screen with a double-click, it holds the customer's bank cards and boarding passes, and unlike an app it cannot be deleted in a spring-clean. A loyalty card that lives there is seen every time your customer pays for anything, anywhere.

Perkfull issues your loyalty program as a native Apple Wallet pass — not a screenshot, not a barcode in an email, but a live object that updates itself and can speak to the lock screen.

What a live pass actually does

An example pass in Apple Wallet — filed alongside the transit and bank cards. It is scanned at the counter, updates in place, and announces the reward itself.

Your brand, correctly dressed

Wallet passes have a strict, recognisable anatomy — logo field, brand colour, hero image, live data fields — and working with that anatomy is what makes a pass look native rather than improvised. Perkfull's Pass Designer previews the real pass as you build: your logo top-left, your brand colour as the card face, an optional photo, and the fields you choose (stamps, points, tier) rendered exactly as iOS will render them. What you approve in the designer is what lands in the wallet.

The setup you don't have to do

Issuing Apple Wallet passes yourself means enrolling in the Apple Developer Program, generating and renewing signing certificates, hosting a pass-update web service and running a push pipeline. It's real engineering, and it's entirely invisible to Perkfull merchants:

Compatibility, in one line

Apple Wallet is built into iOS on effectively every iPhone your customers carry — there is no minimum model to worry about, no OS-version support matrix, and nothing for the customer to update. If they have an iPhone, your card works on it.

And the other half of your customers

Android customers scan the same QR code and receive a Google Wallet pass with the same stamps, points and messages — the link detects the phone and issues the right format. One program, one dashboard, one customer list; the wallet is just delivery. From AED 149/month with unlimited customers on both platforms.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Do I need an Apple Developer account to issue passes?

No. Pass signing, certificates and the Apple infrastructure are Perkfull's problem — you design the card in the Pass Designer and share a QR code. That's the entire technical footprint on your side.

How do updates reach the pass after it's added?

Passes update themselves over Apple's push channel. When staff add a stamp or points, the card in the customer's wallet changes within seconds — and reward or campaign messages appear as notifications from the pass on the lock screen.

What can the pass look like?

Your logo, brand colours, a hero photo, and the live fields you choose — stamp progress, points balance, or tier. The Pass Designer previews the real pass as you build it, so what you approve is what lands in the wallet.

Which iPhones support Wallet passes?

Effectively all of them — Apple Wallet is built into iOS and can't be uninstalled. There is no minimum model in practical terms for pass support, so you never have to think about device compatibility.

What about my Android customers?

The same QR code serves both platforms — Android customers get a Google Wallet pass with the same stamps, points and messages. You run one program; the link sorts out the phones.
