This policy explains how Perkfull ("Perkfull", "we") handles personal data. We follow the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021). We keep this short and clear on purpose.
Two different roles
There are two kinds of data here, and our role is different for each:
- Businesses that use Perkfull. When you sign up as a business, we are the controller of your account data (your name, email, company details, billing info) and we use it to provide the service.
- Your customers' data. When a café or shop uses Perkfull to run its loyalty program, that business owns and controls its customers' data. We only process it on that business's behalf. If you are a customer of one of those businesses, please contact that business about your data — and see "Your rights" below.
What we collect
- Account data: name, email, phone, business name, and login details.
- Billing data: plan, invoices and payment status (card details are handled by our payment provider, not stored by us).
- Loyalty data (on behalf of businesses): customer name/contact, stamps, points, rewards and visit activity.
- Usage data: basic technical logs (device, browser, IP) to keep the service secure and working.
How we use it
- To provide, secure and improve the Perkfull service.
- To communicate with you about your account, billing and support.
- To meet our legal and tax obligations in the UAE.
We do not sell personal data. We only send marketing messages to people who have agreed to receive them.
Who we share it with
We share data only with:
- Trusted service providers who help us run Perkfull (e.g. hosting, SMS/email delivery, payments), under confidentiality obligations.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
Where data is stored
We aim to store data on secure servers and protect it with appropriate technical and organisational measures. If data is transferred outside the UAE, we take steps to protect it as required by the UAE Personal Data Protection Law.
Cookies and analytics
Our website uses a small number of cookies to work properly and to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it. We only use essential and privacy-friendly analytics cookies — we don't use them to build advertising profiles or sell your data. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; essential ones are needed for the site to function.
How long we keep it
We keep account and billing data for as long as your account is active, and afterwards only as long as needed for legal, tax or security reasons. Loyalty data is kept for as long as the business using Perkfull needs it, or until they delete it.
Your rights
Under UAE law you can generally ask to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct data that is wrong or incomplete.
- Delete your data, or object to or restrict how it is used.
- Withdraw consent to marketing at any time.
